Woman Caused Rush Hour Accident on Rt. 378, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township police say a Bethlehem woman was charged with failing to drive her vehicle at a safe speed, after she allegedly caused an accident on Rt. 378 north near the I-78 overpass Nov. 19.

Lower Saucon Township police say a Bethlehem woman was charged with failing to drive her vehicle at a safe speed, after she allegedly caused an accident on Rt. 378 north near the I-78 overpass Nov. 19.

In a news release issued last week, police said Brenda L. Santiago, of the 1200 block of Livingston Street, failed to come to a stop and rear-ended the car in front of her, causing moderate damage to both vehicles.

Police said the accident happened at about 5:19 p.m.
