Music Students' Annual Christmas Tree Sale Opens Thursday

Saucon Valley Music Connection's annual Christmas tree sale, which supports music students in the Saucon Valley School District, will open Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church, 69 Main St., Hellertown.

Saucon Valley music director Herb Payung said the sale will be open for business on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday from 3 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Next week the sale will be open weeknights from 5 to 8 p.m., except for Tuesday, Dec. 10, when it will be closed during the high school band and choral concert.

That concert will be performed in the high school auditorium at 7 p.m.

"Come out for some great holiday music," Payung urged local residents in a Facebook post. "The kids are stepping it up again this year!"

To ensure the freshness of the Christmas trees being sold, he noted that they aren't being cut until the day they are delivered to Hellertown (Wednesday).

Weekend sale times will remain the same throughout December:

Friday, 3 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
