Lower Saucon Township Police say the windshield of a pickup truck was recently smashed with a blunt object in the 2000 block of Leithsville Road.
Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating a smashed vehicle windshield as a case of criminal mischief. In a press release, police said the windshield was smashed on a Toyota pickup truck that was parked in the 2000 block of Leithsville Road. Police said the damage was inflicted with "what appears to have been some type of blunt object." The damage was reported to authorities on the morning of March 2, and reportedly occurred sometime during the week prior. Lower Saucon Township Police say Stephen Hajdinyak, of Fawn Lane, reported March 4 that his vehicle was sideswiped by a 'white heavy duty pickup truck with large mirrors.'
Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating an accident on Silver Creek Road that was reported March 4 as a hit-and-run. In a news release, police said Stephen Hajdinyak, of the 1900 block of Fawn Lane, Lower Saucon Township, reported that he was traveling on Silver Creek Road "near the bridge when a white heavy duty pickup truck with large mirrors sideswiped his (side) mirror with the truck's mirror." Police said that as a result of the accident, the pickup "likely has minor damage to its driver side mirror." Lower Saucon Township Police say the tailgate from a 2011 Chevy Silverado was reported stolen from a residence in the 2100 block of Sherbrooke Drive on Jan. 20.
Lower Saucon Township Police say a pickup truck tailgate valued at more than $200 was recently reported stolen from a residence in the 2100 block of Sherbrooke Drive. In a press release, police said the owner of the 2011 Chevy Silverado discovered that his tailgate had been stolen when he came out to wash his truck on the morning of Jan. 20. According to police, the theft reportedly happened sometime between Sunday, Jan. 13 and Sunday, Jan. 20. The tailgate is described as being black with chrome around its handle area.
