Police: Man Committed Credit Card Fraud at Giant

Lower Saucon Township Police say they want to identify the man who allegedly committed more than $400 in credit card fraud at the Giant Food Store Nov. 9.

A man whose identity is unknown used stolen credit card information to purchase $434.52 in Visa gift cards and other merchandise from the Giant Food Store, 1880 Leithsville Road, on Nov. 9, Lower Saucon Township Police announced Monday. In a press release, police said the man was driving a black or dark gray Mazda or Nissan sedan when he entered the store's parking lot shortly after 2pm. Police described the man as being black, in his late 20s or 30s, clean-shaven, and with a medium build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a button-down khaki shirt and possibly khaki pants, along with a "black winter cap," police said. Police: Man Arrested for Credit Card Fraud

Hellertown Police say Justin B. Kunsman, 33, of Williams Township, has been charged with forgery, access device fraud, receiving stolen property and theft.

A Williams Township man has been charged with access device fraud, theft, receiving stolen property and forgery as a result of a fraudulent transaction he allegedly committed at the Top Star Exxon station Sept. 23, Hellertown Police announced Tuesday. In a press release police said Justin B. Kunsman, 33, of the 400 block of Royal Manor Road, Williams Township, was arrested for using and signing for a lost credit card. Police said Kunsman "performed a fraudulent return" at the gas station with the card, and that he was arrested following an investigation.

Report: Hellertown Woman Allegedly Stole $20,000 from Senior Housing Group

Martha Vincent, 49, has been executive director of the Shepherd's organization in Monroe County for several years

The Pocono Record is reporting that a Hellertown woman has turned herself in to authorities as she faces charges of ripping off a senior housing organization called the Shepherd's. Martha Vincent, 49, stole close to $20,000 by forging checks, altering documents and making unauthorized credit card charges, authorities say. Vincent, executive director of the organization, is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Mountainhome on May 5.

How sad that someone takes money from their employer and even sadder it was from our senior citizens. I hope she repents and realizes that greed is not worth the risk of ruining ones self respect and good name   more ›
