Son Blamed Accident on His Mom, Police Say
Lower Saucon Township Police also say a man was found to possess a small amount of marijuana after nearly crashing his car on Bingen Road.
Man Implicated Mother in Traffic Accident, Police Say Police say they were investigating an accident at the Saucon Square shopping center on Route 378 at 8:47 p.m. on Feb. 8 when Anthony Divergigelis, 24, of the 500 block of Juniper Street, Quakertown, told them he was not driving a vehicle involved in the crash and implicated his mother. Police said in a press release that further investigation revealed that Divergigelis "lied to police and...actually was the driver." Divergigelis was charged with false reports to law enforcement, driving under suspension and "driving at safe speed," police said.
