Man Arrested for DUI Near Rt. 378 and Koehler Drive On July 21 at 3:07am police say Kevin Olswfski, of Gilbert, Pa., was stopped for speeding at Route 378 North and Koehler Drive. Police said in a press release that Olswfski was traveling at 56 mph in a 30 mph zone. After an officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage, police said Olswfski was administered and failed field sobriety tests. His vehicle was towed and his blood alcohol content (BAC) was determined to be .14 percent, they added. American Flag Reported Stolen from Township Home

Lower Saucon Township Police say an American flag was stolen from a home on Saucon Lane July 30.

According to Lower Saucon Township Police, an American flag was stolen from a residence in the 1900 block of Saucon Lane during the overnight hours of July 30. In a press release issued Monday, police said homeowner Fred Harvey also discovered that branches had been cut off his dogwood tree. Anyone with information regarding the theft of the flag and the damage to the dogwood is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department at 610-317-6110.
