Eleanor V. Brown, 92, of the Phoebe Home in Allentown, and formerly of Hellertown, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013.
Eleanor V. Brown, 92, of the Phoebe Home, Allentown, and formerly of Hellertown, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Robert T. Brown Sr., who passed away July 27, 1995. She was born in Bethlehem on Jan. 17, 1921 to the late Clyde M. and Sarah (Wilhelm) Apple. She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown, and a past member of the former Bethlehem Steel Club and the 60+ Club of Hellertown. SURVIVORS Loving son: Richard C. and his wife Cenzia of Emmaus; sisters: Margaret M. Steele of Milford, Del., Kathryn B. Stirling of Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
