Hellertown Police say they are investigating a hit-and-run accident that happened in the 1300 block of Easton Road.
Hellertown Police say they are investigating damage to a car's driver's side mirror as a hit-and-run accident. In a press release, police said the mirror was damaged when a car that was parked facing south in the 1300 block of Easton Road was struck by a passing vehicle early on the morning of April 28. Police are asking anyone with information about the accident to call them at 610-838-7040.

Hellertown Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the driver of a Toyota Solara allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident at Depot Street and New Jersey Avenue.
Hellertown Police are seeking information about a car that was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident at a borough intersection. According to a police department news release, the car is a red 2004-2006 Toyota Solara that will be missing the driver's side half of its front bumper. Police said the accident occurred March 18 at 6:53pm at Depot Street and New Jersey Avenue and involved another occupied vehicle. "Any person seeing the vehicle is requested to obtain the vehicle's registration and contact the Hellertown Police Department," police said. The police department's phone number is 610-838-7040.

Lower Saucon Township Police say Stephen Hajdinyak, of Fawn Lane, reported March 4 that his vehicle was sideswiped by a 'white heavy duty pickup truck with large mirrors.'
Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating an accident on Silver Creek Road that was reported March 4 as a hit-and-run. In a news release, police said Stephen Hajdinyak, of the 1900 block of Fawn Lane, Lower Saucon Township, reported that he was traveling on Silver Creek Road "near the bridge when a white heavy duty pickup truck with large mirrors sideswiped his (side) mirror with the truck's mirror." Police said that as a result of the accident, the pickup "likely has minor damage to its driver side mirror." Hellertown police say they are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred Feb. 14 behind Warm Sugar, 1322 Main St.
A Valentine's Day accident that occurred behind the Main Street cupcake bakery Warm Sugar is under investigation as a hit-and-run, Hellertown Police announced Tuesday. In a press release, police said the victim of the accident reported that her vehicle was hit by a van of unknown make/color while it was parked in the lot behind the business, at 1322 Main St. When the van left the parking lot, it reportedly headed south. Police said the accident--which was reported at 6:24pm--is believed to have occurred sometime during the late afternoon or early evening. Lower Saucon Township Police say the driver of a white Jeep ran a red light at Route 378 and Mountain Drive North Jan. 17, striking a car driven by a 16-year-old before fleeing.
After striking a car that was being driven by a 16-year-old from Lower Saucon Township Jan. 17, the driver of a white Jeep fled the scene, township police said in a news release Monday. According to police, the hit-and-run accident occurred at the intersection of Route 378 and Mountain Drive North at approximately 8:30pm. The 16-year-old motorist was attempting to cross Route 378 when the northbound Jeep driver ran a red light, causing the accident, police said. The juvenile suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, they added. Police said the Jeep was last seen continuing northbound on Route 378 into the City of Bethlehem. Lower Saucon Township Police say a white Audi A4 was damaged while it was parked in the grass along Panther Way.
Lower Saucon Township Police announced Monday that they are investigating a hit-and-run accident that resulted in damage to a white Audi A4. In a press release, police said the car's driver's side front quarter panel was damaged by another vehicle on Sept. 21 between 7:45 and 9pm. Police said the offending vehicle is either black or silver. The car, which police said is owned by Nancy Bohnhorst of the 2300 block of Wassergass Road, Lower Saucon Township, was struck while it was parked in the grass along Panther Way, which is near the Saucon Valley School District campus. Jeffrey Jay Feathers, 51, was allegedly intoxicated when, according to court records, he crashed into another car on Cherry Lane at the Hellertown-Bethlehem border late last year. Feathers is also accused of fleeing the scene and other offenses.
Three days before Christmas, Hellertown police reportedly had a hard time handling a man suspected in a hit-and-run crash. They took Jeffrey Jay Feathers, 51, of the 1700 block of South Idaho Street, Allentown, into custody on a back porch in the 1300 block of Main Street after he was seen hiding in bushes outside the nearby CVS, according to court records.
