Lower Saucon Township Police say they are seeking information about a man who was rear-ended by a township dump truck on Bingen Road near Friedensville Road.
Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating a hit-and-run accident that involved a township public works employee. In a news release police said the accident occured at about 9:40 a.m. April 25, when township dump truck driver Jeremy Frey made contact with the rear bumper of a newer maroon Chevy Tahoe as both vehicles were eastbound on Bingen Road, approaching the intersection with Friedensville Road. Police said the impact occurred "when the Tahoe slowed for traffic," and resulted in "a small scratch approximately 1 inch in length" on the Tahoe's bumper. Hellertown Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident they say occurred in the parking lot at Vassi's Drive-In, 1666 Main St., at about 8:09 p.m. April 27. Hellertown Police say they are investigating an accident that occurred in the Rite Aid parking lot at Main and Walnut streets as a hit-and-run.
Hellertown Police are seeking information from the public about a hit-and-run accident they say occured in the Rite Aid parking lot at 110 Main St. In a news release, police said witnesses reported that a green Subaru station wagon struck a Jeep and then fled the scene. Police said "surveillance video confirmed witness accounts." The accident occurred Feb. 20 at about 3:57 p.m., according to authorities. Lower Saucon Township Police say a white vehicle struck a parked car in the 3500 block of Old Philadelphia Pike.
Lower Saucon Township Police are asking members of the public for information about a white vehicle they say is responsible for a hit-and-run accident. In a news release, police said the hit-and-run happened in the 3500 block of Old Philadelphia Pike at about 3 a.m. April 6. Hellertown Police say information provided by 'concerned citizens' led them to Michael F. Montgomery, 52, of the 1000 block of New Jersey Avenue, who has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run accident.
Numerous tips from "concerned citizens" helped Hellertown Police identify the motorist allegedly responsible for a hit-and-run accident at East Depot Street and New Jersey Avenue, police said in a news release. Police said Michael F. Montgomery, 52, of the 1000 block of New Jersey Avenue, Hellertown, was identified as the driver following an investigation that included analysis of evidence and information from the public. In an earlier news release about the alleged incident, police said they were seeking information about the driver of a red 2004-2006 Toyota Solara that would be missing the driver's side half of its front bumper. Hellertown Police say the Jan. 29 accident occurred at the intersection of Washington and Ackerman streets.
Hellertown Police announced Monday that they are seeking the public's help in identifying the driver responsible for a Jan. 29 hit-and-run accident that occurred at the intersection of Washington and Ackerman streets. Hellertown Police investigating an accident that occurred in the 700 block of Front Street on Jan. 29.
An elderly man was apparently behind the wheel of a vehicle that sideswiped a Pontiac Firebird that was parked in the 700 block of Front Street on Jan. 29, Hellertown Police announced Thursday. In a press release, police said the accident occurred at about 1:15 p.m. The motorist responsible for the accident was driving a black van that was "possibly a newer style Chrysler Town and Country or Plymouth Voyager," police said. After striking the Firebird, police say the man in the van continued south on Front Street and made a left onto Walnut Street. Hellertown Police say they are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred at Top Star Exxon, 1570 Main St., on Nov. 9.
Borough police announced Tuesday that they are investigating a hit-and-run accident that allegedly occurred at the Top Star Exxon gas station Nov. 9. In a press release police said they were called to the station at 1570 Main St. at 3:30pm. The victim reported that she had left her car parked at the station at 9:30am. When she returned at 3:30pm, police said, she found it had been moved approximately three feet. There was also damage to the vehicle's rear right side, authorities added. Hellertown Police say information about two recent hit-and-run accidents in the borough is being sought.
Borough police say they are seeking information about two recent hit-and-run accidents that resulted in damage to parked vehicles. In the first accident, which occurred Sept. 24 at approximately 7:49pm, police say the vehicle owner was at home in the 600 block of East Walnut Street when a vehicle was heard racing down the street, followed by a "loud bang." "The victim walked outside and observed their pick up truck driver's side mirror damage," police said in a press release about the incident.
