Loretta K. (Bender) Mease, 78, of Bethlehem Township, died Monday, May 13, 2013 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Ernest C. Mease Sr. (1988) and William E. Miller (1961). She was born in Butztown on Dec. 11, 1934 to the late Eugene and Mae (Ruch) Bender. She worked for 30 years at local textile companies until retiring, and was a member of the Ladies Garment Local Union. Loretta was a 1952 graduate of Liberty High School and a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township. SURVIVORS Loving children: Carl E. Sam C. Adamek, 78, formerly of Hellertown, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Helen M. (Ganssle) Adamek, who died Dec. 12, 2006. He was born in Bethlehem on Jan. 4, 1935 to the late Frank and Mary Adamek. Sam worked in the meat department of the former Shopwell, Bethlehem and other stores until retiring in 1976. He previously worked in the No. 3 Fabricating Department of the former Bethlehem Steel from 1953-1963. Sam was a member of Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown.
