Woman Pointed Loaded Gun at Husband, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say Angela M. Smith, of the 2500 block of Quarry Lane, pointed a loaded handgun at her husband and herself during a Nov. 9 domestic dispute.

A Lower Saucon Township woman is facing charges following a domestic dispute that police say occurred on the afternoon of Nov. 9. In a press release, Lower Saucon police said Angela M. Smith, of the 2500 block of Quarry Lane, pointed a loaded 40 caliber handgun at her husband and herself during an argument. Smith has been charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment, police said.

Girl Hit Father in Head With Chair, Police Say

Hellertown Police say the alleged incident happened in the 1000 block of Third Avenue Sept. 8.

A girl has been charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, after police say she assaulted her father. In a press release police said the incident happened in the 1000 block of Third Avenue at about 5pm on Sept. 8. Police said officers were dispatched because the girl had allegedly struck her father in the head with a chair during a domestic disturbance. Following an investigation police said the girl was arrested. The case has been referred to county juvenile court, police said.

Borough Man Charged With Simple Assault, Harassment On Jan. 6 at 3:23pm police say they responded to a domestic disturbance at 937 Easton Road. Police say they arrested Jared M. Hall, 28, of that address, following an alleged altercation that involved his girlfriend. Hall was charged with simple assault and harassment under the Domestic Violence Law, and was arraigned before District Judge Daniel Corpora before being released on $5,000 unsecured bail, police said. Police: Lower Saucon Man Assaulted Wife

Louis Lazaro, 72, allegedly struck his wife on the head several times with his fist and a telephone.

A 72-year-old Lower Saucon Township man has been charged with simple assault and harassment after allegedly striking his wife several times June 19. According to a police press release, at approximately 10:28pm officers were called to the home of Louis Lazaro in the 1800 block of Waldheim Road, Lower Saucon, after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance. Police said Lazaro's wife stated that her husband struck her on the head several times, with both his fist and a telephone. "Recent bruising and swelling were observed on (her)," police said. Lazaro was released on $10,000 and his own recognizance after being arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, police said.
