Dispute Over Children Sparked Fight, Police Say

Hellertown Police say two men who allegedly fought in an alley behind Main Street were cited for disorderly conduct.

Two borough men who allegedly fought in an alley behind the 1500 block of Main Street were cited for disorderly conduct, Hellertown Police said in a news release. According to police, officers were called to Morris Alley for a report of a fight at about 6 p.m. May 9. At the scene, police said it was determined that Joseph D. Gerstenberg, 46, of the 1500 block of Main Street, and Jason Joseph Britland, 37, of the 1500 block of Burkhardt Street, Hellertown, had fought because of a "dispute involving the children of both men."

Boy, 11, Hit Classmate in Face, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say an 11-year-old student at Saucon Valley Middle School was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment.

Lower Saucon Township Police said an 11-year-old boy was cited for harassment and disorderly conduct, after he allegedly struck another 11-year-old student in the face at Saucon Valley Middle School May 8. In a news release, police said the boy who struck his classmate was released to a parent after being cited.

Man Yelled Obscenities on Main Street: Police

Hellertown Police say Jerome S. Staggers, 35, of the 600 block of Main Street, Hellertown, was charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly yelled obscenities while drunk.

A borough man was charged with disorderly conduct after police say he shouted obscenities outside his residence in the 600 block of Main Street late at night. In a news release, Hellertown Police said Jerome S. Staggers, 35, was intoxicated when he came out of his home "after being ordered to remain inside by police." Police said Staggers then proceeded to repeatedly yell obscenities outside his home "after being ordered to stop by police." According to police, officers were summoned to Staggers' residence in response to a domestic dispute shortly after midnight on March 21.

Man 'Became Irate' at District Court, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say George Liros, 77, of Bethlehem, was charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly argued with two court secretaries at a District Court office in the township.

A Bethlehem man contesting a speeding ticket was charged with disorderly conduct Wednesday, after police say he became irate and argumentative with two secretaries at Northampton County District Court 03-2-04, 1404 Walter St., Lower Saucon Township. District Court 03-2-04 is presided over by District Judge David W. Tidd. According to a news release from the Lower Saucon Township Police Department, George Liros, 77, of the 1500 block of Schoenersville Road, was at the court "to plead on a fine (speeding)" when he became upset at having to post collateral after entering a not-guilty plea. Liros "used profanities towards the secretaries, threw his sunglasses on the counter and threw a stationary pen which is attached to the counter," police …

Drunken Man Wouldn't Leave Easton Road Home: Police

Lower Saucon Township Police say Kevin Mathew Sobol, of the 3600 block of Drifting Drive, was intoxicated when he allegedly refused to leave the back porch of an Easton Road home.

When a man who police say was intoxicated allegedly refused to leave a resident's back yard, Lower Saucon Township Police say they were called to an Easton Road home in response. In a news release, police said Kevin Mathew Sobol, of the 3600 block of Drifting Drive, Lower Saucon Township, didn't know the people whose yard he entered on the evening of March 16. Police said that after Sobol rang a doorbell and yelled he was asked to leave, but refused. At that point, police say Sobol sat down on a back porch, which was where officers allegedly found him when they responded to the homeowner's 911 call. Drunken Man Punched Out Window, Hid in Tub: Police

Lower Saucon Township Police say Jayson Vierbuchen was intoxicated when he allegedly caused a ruckus at 1999 Leithsville Road.

An Upper Black Eddy man was drunk Feb. 21 when he punched the window out of another man's car and then hid in a tub inside an apartment at 1999 Leithsville Road, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release. Police said Jayson Vierbuchen, 20, of the 1200 block of Bridgeton Hill Road, hid "because he was intoxicated." Officers were called to the address at 5:45 p.m. for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, they were told Vierbuchen had gone inside Apartment 1, police said. Vierbuchen will be charged with criminal mischief, public drunkenness and underage drinking, according to police. They added that he will also be charged with False ID to Law Enforcement for allegedly telling officers his name was "Brett Tomko" and that he was 21 …

Men Caught Peeing in Park, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say two men were cited for disorderly conduct after they were allegedly observed urinating outside their truck in the lower lot at Polk Valley Park.

Although they were within sight of an unoccupied portable toilet, Lower Saucon Township Police say two men decided to urinate outside their truck, which police said was parked in the lower lot at Polk Valley Park at the time. In a news release, police said Tim Reppert, of Whitehall, and James Rex, of North Catasauqua, "were observed urinating outside their utility truck in the open parking lot of the public park" on Feb. 7 at approximately 8:50 a.m. Police said the truck was parked "just feet away" from the portable toilet. Both Reppert and Rex were issued citations for disorderly conduct, police said.

Couple Engaged in Sex in Park, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say Aaron Wade Calhoun, of Breinigsville, was charged with disorderly conduct after he was found naked in his car with a woman in South Mountain Park.

A Breinigsville, Upper Macungie Township man was charged with disorderly conduct Jan. 20, after Lower Saucon Township Police say he was found naked in his car in South Mountain Park on Mountain Drive North. Police said in a press release that Aaron Wade Calhoun, of the 1000 block of Cetronia Road, was engaged in sexual activity with a woman at the time. According to the press release, the couple were in the park at approximately 11pm.

If the public has a right to know who the guy was, then the same goes for the gal. Or was she some police officers wife or daughter? Garbageman Peed on Roadside, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say a Raritan Valley Disposal employee was cited for disorderly conduct Nov. 29, after he was allegedly observed urinating next to his garbage truck on Wilhelm Road.

A Raritan Valley Disposal employee landed in hot water Nov. 29, when Lower Saucon Township Police say he was found urinating in public in the 3700 block of Wilhelm Road. In a press release police said William W. Schrade, 51, of Rural Route 5, Saylorsburg, Pa., was observed by a township police officer peeing beside his garbage truck at about 10:47am. "(Schrade) related to officers that he did it because he didn't think many people travel on the roadway, so he hoped that nobody would see his action," police said. Schrade has been cited for disorderly conduct via mail, authorities added.

Couple Had Sex in Township Parking Lot, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police said Monday that a man and woman were charged with disorderly conduct Nov. 21, after they were allegedly found to be engaged in sexual activity in a parking lot on Mountain Drive North.

A man and woman were charged with disorderly conduct Nov. 21, after police say there were discovered engaged in sexual activity in the parking lot of the former public television station on Mountain Drive North in the township. In a press release, Lower Saucon Township Police said Matthew Sakalosky, of the 6000 block of Tyler Drive, Harrisburg, and Caitilyn Kane, of the 1400 block of Spring Valley Road, Upper Saucon Township, were involved in sexual activity in the parking lot at 1:54am.
