Hellertown Police say they are investigating criminal mischief to a Mercury parked in the 200 block of Willow Road.
Hellertown Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the person or persons responsible for the keying of a car in the 200 block of Willow Road. In a news release, police said the car's owner reported that on the night of April 27 his beige Mercury "was scratched/keyed all down the passenger side." The owner reported the damage May 3, police said. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Hellertown Police Department at 610-838-7040.

Lower Saucon Township Police say the lower limbs of four trees near Saucon Valley Elementary School were mysteriously pruned and left on the sidewalk. The case is being investigated as criminal mischief.
Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating a case of criminal mischief involving the cutting of tree limbs near Saucon Valley Elementary School. In a news release, police said the lower limbs of four trees along the sidewalk near the elementary school playground were cut off sometime between 5 and 8 p.m. May 15. The limbs "were clean cut with a pruning tool and left on the sidewalk," police said. The pruning was unauthorized by the school district, authorities confirmed. Police say a 17-year-old boy threw an egg at a car at Saucon Valley and Weyhill Farm roads.
A 17-year-old boy from Schnecksville was charged with criminal mischief after police said he threw an egg at a car at Saucon Valley and Weyhill Farm roads in Lower Saucon Township. In a news release, Lower Saucon police said the driver of the vehicle that was egged was a woman from New Jersey. Police said the egging, which occurred May 4 at 11:45 p.m., caused damage to the woman's vehicle.

Hellertown Police say they are investigating a case of criminal mischief that recently occurred in the alley behind the 600 block of Main Street.
Hellertown Police say they are investigating a case of criminal mischief that recently occurred along a borough alley. In a news release, police said that on May 4 it was discovered that cinder blocks from a nearby construction site had been placed behind two vehicles in a parking lot behind the 600 block of Main Street. Nearby, "a couch out for trash pickup was attempted to be set on fire and the cushions were thrown in trees and power lines," police said. Lower Saucon Township Police say Victor Martinez, 25, of the 3700 block of Old Philadelphia Pike, became upset after his daughter's mother refused to leave the girl with him.
A Lower Saucon Township man will be cited for criminal mischief, after police say he "became agitated" and kicked his daughter's mother's vehicle following a failed child custody exchange. In a news release, police said Victor Martinez, 25, of the 3700 block of Old Philadelphia Pike, kicked the car after the girl's mother refused to leave her with him "when she found out (Martinez) was drinking." The vehicle suffered minor damage in the April 21 incident, police said.

Lower Saucon Township Police say a camper on Friebley Avenue was damaged when it was moved several feet. Police are seeking information about the person or persons responsible.
A 2004 Bantam camper was damaged when it was moved several feet from its parking spot on Friebley Avenue, in what Lower Saucon Township Police say was a case of criminal mischief. In a press release, police said the camper "incurred $1,000 in damage as it was placed on the curb instead of wooden blocks." Friebley Avenue is a private road near Walter Street and Route 378. Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating an incident in which a vehicle windshield in Steel City was damaged by a BB.
Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating damage to a car's windshield that occurred in the 2000 block of Schwab Avenue, Steel City, as a case of criminal mischief. In a press release, police said the windshield was cracked by a BB fired sometime between Friday, March 15 and Friday, March 22. "A person was seen during this time span, at night, wearing all black, on the victim's property," police said. Anyone with information about the unknown person is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department at 610-317-6110. In the press release, police reminded residents to "report any suspicious activity" to them promptly.

Hellertown Police say a boy who started fires in Water Street Park toilets has been charged with criminal mischief and dangerous burning.
A boy who allegedly lit things on fire inside portable toilets in Water Street Park near the Saucon Rail Trail was referred to juvenile authorities on charges of criminal mischief and dangerous burning, Hellertown police said in a news release. According to police, officers were dispatched to the park at 5:21 p.m. Jan. 22. Dewey Fire Company also responded, police said. Authorities said charges were filed following an investigation.

Lower Saucon Township Police say two men who allegedly damaged 20 mailboxes between late December and early February have been charged with numerous counts of criminal mischief.
Two young men who allegedly damaged 20 Leithsville area mailboxes in several sprees between Dec. 27, 2012 and Feb. 9 of this year have been charged with 21 counts of criminal mischief and 20 counts of criminal conspiracy each, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release. Police identified the men as Joseph John Michael Wilson, 24, of the 1900 block of Leithsville Road, Lower Saucon, and Jayson Brett Vierbuchen, 20, of the 1200 block of Bridgeton Hill Road, Upper Black Eddy. Police said Wilson admitted to damaging the mailboxes and smashing a vehicle's rear window in an interview, in which he also allegedly implicated Vierbuchen.
