Woman on Prescription Drugs Drove Off Road: Police

Lower Saucon Township Police say Joanne S. Moore, of the 1700 block of Easton Road, Durham Township, has been charged with DUI-Controlled Substance.

A woman who allegedly drove erratically has been charged with DUI-controlled substance, Lower Saucon Township Police announced in a news release. According to police, Joanne S. Moore, of the 1700 block of Easton Road, Durham Township, was stopped on the afternoon of April 5 after a motorist flagged down a passing patrolman to tell him "the vehicle in front of him had just run off the roadway." Moore was stopped near the intersection of Polk Valley and Leithsville roads, and at that time "officers detected several clues that Moore was driving under the influence of a depressant," police said. Police said Moore "admitted to ingesting prescription drugs including Oxycodone and Valium," and that "further testing revealed that (she) was under …

Beer, Pot and Pill Bottles Found in Car After Crash, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say two men from Williams Township now face charges related to a Dec. 17 car accident that occurred on Lower Saucon Road near Crestline Drive.

After officers responded to a one-vehicle accident on Lower Saucon Road near Crestline Drive Dec. 17, police say they were informed by an EMT that the vehicle's 20-year-old passenger was in possession of a glass pipe and three cans of beer. In a press release, police identified the passenger as Aaron Steven Winkler, of the first block of Longhill Drive, Williams Township, and said that in addition to the pipe and three cans of Natural Ice he was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana, a grinder, empty pill bottles for medications not prescribed to him, and two prescription bottles with the labels removed from them. Police Say Teen Sold ADD Pills at High School

Authorities also allege that a marijuana smoking pipe was found in the student's wallet and that a hookah was found in his locker.

In a press release issued Saturday, Lower Saucon police said three local teens were allegedly involved in drug deals at Saucon Valley High School. According to police, on June 6 officers were dispatched to the school after a 16-year-old male student from Lower Saucon allegedly sold his Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) medication to a 16-year-old male from Hellertown for $2 a pill, and was attempting to sell the medication to a 17-year-old male from Hellertown "when a teacher caught them." The 16-year-old male from Lower Saucon was searched and a marijuana smoking pipe was found in his wallet, police said. Police: Man Possessed Brass Knuckles, Ecstasy Pills

The following arrest information was supplied by the Hellertown Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Hellertown police say a man arrested in the 1100 block of Main Street May 22 was found to be in possession of both ecstasy pills and brass knuckles. Brandon Tyler Frame-Pritchard, 20, of 1333 Marlow St., Salisbury Township, was stopped at 10:35am--along with another man--as the result of a disturbance complaint, police said. Frame-Pritchard was found to be in possession of several ecstasy pills and the brass knuckles, which he allegedly used in an assault earlier that day, police stated. Another man who was stopped, who police identified as Louis Leonard Bennett, 24, of 445 S. Cottonwood Road, Northampton, was allegedly found to have a marijuana pipe on his person and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Frame-Pritchard was …
