Attempted Arc Welder Thief Sought in Lower Saucon

Police say a man in a dark-colored pickup truck attempted to steal a Lincoln arc welder from a property in the 1200 block of Seidersville Road.

Lower Saucon Township Police say they are seeking information about the identity of a man who attempted to steal a Lincoln arc welder from a property in the 1200 block of Seidersville Road on the afternoon of Dec. 3, 2012. In a press release issued more than two months after the attempted theft, police said the man suspected of trying to steal the welder was driving a dark-colored pickup truck when he made his attempt. "While pulling the large yellow welder off of the property with a chain, the wheel fell off of the welding machine's trailer," police said, adding that the suspect "then fled the scene without the welder." The following incidents have been reported by the Lower Saucon Township Police Department: Information Sought Regarding July 20 Accident Involving Sports Car Police say they are attempting to locate possible witnesses to an accident that occurred on Route 378 at Seidersville Road, on July 20 at approximately 11am. According to police, a female in a grey Buick turned in front of a tan Aston Martin, causing the Aston Martin to run up onto a curb. The luxury sports car was damaged as a result of the accident, police said.
