Met-Ed reported 1,620 customers in Williams without power as of 7:10pm Tuesday, and PPL reported 150 customers without power in Williams. The center …

He came to the shelter as a stray in the spring of 2010 and is waiting to meet you. Patchy is very social, up to date on shots, neutered and ready for a home for the holidays.

Each week we feature a cat and dog (and sometimes a rabbit) in need of adoption from the Center for Animal Health and Welfare in Williams Township. For information about these and other pets, visit the shelter's website or call 610-252-7722. DENNIS Dennis is a big fluffy rabbit that doesn't mind being handled. He is friendly, active and loves people. He is two years old and looking for a forever home. (He had just gotten a bath in the photo that accompanies this story.) SAMMY Sammy is a favorite of one of the center's volunteers and gets a visit almost every day. A domestic shorthair "tiger" cat, Sammy is calm, cool and collected. For information about these and other pets, visit www.healthyanimalcenter.org or call 610-252-7722. HARPO Harpo is a young adult male staffordshire terrier mix who has been at the shelter for a couple of months. Although he is friendly, he is still a bit shy. He is always eager to go on a walk and has good leash manners. He will let you pet him and take treats nicely from you, but he is not overly affectionate until he knows someone well. Harpo doesn't like all the commotion at the shelter, so a home of his own--with no other dogs--would be ideal for him. He would probably be OK in a home with cats. ANNABELLE Annabelle…

She is petite in size and a very bright girl. Fawn is a graduate of Canine Good Citizens training and knows all her commands. She knows "sit," "down," "paw," "stay," "come" and "speak." When the mood strikes her she will also roll over. Fawn was adopted from the shelter several years ago and lived in a home with children and other animals (although she was bullied by another dog). Because of this, she does pick and choose which dogs she wishes to …
