N.Y. Fugitive Arrested in Hellertown, Police Say

Hellertown Police say Babatunji K. Wilson, 26, of Bronx, N.Y., was wanted on warrants in New Jersey and Pennsylvania at the time of his arrest early Wednesday at Cherry Lane and Main Street.

A New York man wanted on charges that range from aggravated assault on a police officer to robbery to theft of services was arrested early Wednesday in Hellertown, police announced in a news release. Hellertown Police say Babatunji K. Wilson, 26, of the 2100 block of Bathgate Drive, Bronx, N.Y., was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation at Cherry Lane and Main Street at 2:53 a.m. At that time, police say Wilson was identified and it was discovered that he was wanted on multiple warrants from Pennsylvania and New Jersey. "Warrants associated with [Wilson] included aggravated assault on a police officer, robbery, resisting arrest, eluding, and theft of services," as well as felony theft by deception, police said. …

Borough Resident Allegedly Chased Man With Knife

According to court records, Russell Luke Dimmick, 30, of 502 Henry St., allegedly brandished a hunting knife while he chased a woman and her boyfriend in his home.

A Hellertown man threatened to kill a woman and her boyfriend as he brandished a 4-inch, single-edge hunting knife, and at one point chased the boyfriend around a home’s basement with the knife, court records say. The records do not specify the relationship between the suspect, Russell Luke Dimmick, 30, and the woman, identified as Kristy Dimmick. But Northampton County property records say the home involved, at 502 Henry St. in the borough, is owned by Luke and Kristy Dimmick. Borough Man Hit Bouncer With Rock, Police Say

After he was ejected Sunday night, Robert Joel Marcantoni, 31, of Hellertown, allegedly threw rocks at a security guard at Molly's Irish Grille & Sports Pub on East Fourth Street in Bethlehem.

Police say a Hellertown man threw rocks at bouncer after being told he'd had too much to drink at a South Bethlehem bar. Robert Joel Marcantoni, 31, was charged Sunday with aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest, harassment, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. According to court records, Marcantoni was drinking at Molly's Irish Grille & Sports Pub on East Fourth Street Sunday night, until he was told he'd had enough. At that point, he subjected the bartender to a series of "vulgar outbursts," and was told to leave. Police: Boy Wouldn't Go to School, Assaulted Officer

Hellertown police say a 15-year-old boy "became out of control" after officers responded to his home when he refused to go to school.

According to a Hellertown Police Department press release, a 15-year-old resident of the first block of Kiernan Avenue "became out of control" the morning of May 30, after officers responded to his home when he refused to go to school. "Upon arrival the juvenile became out of control and pushed his mother, causing injury to her foot," police said. The boy then allegedly assaulted an officer, although the officer was not injured, according to the release. After being taken into custody, the teen was charged with aggravated assault (a felony), simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. He was committed to the Northampton County Juvenile Detention Center, police said.

Police: Saucon Valley Manor Employee Charged With Aggravated Assault

Hellertown police said Monday that Robert Pierson, 48, of Slatington, fought with another employee at the Main Street assisted living facility Feb. 14.

Charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct have been filed against a Saucon Valley Manor employee who police say fought with a co-worker at the Main Street assisted living facility Feb. 14. Hellertown police said in a press release Monday that Robert Pierson, 48, of the 300 block of West Church Street, Slatington, fought with another employee at approximately 8:48am. They added that one of the employees had to be taken to the hospital for evaluation of injuries following the fight. Following an investigation, police said Pierson was taken into custody for his alleged involvment in the altercation. He was subsequently arraigned in front of District Judge David Tidd and committed to Northampton County …

Police: Man Sent to Jail Following Fight at Meadows

Kenneth Blair, of Freemansburg, has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment, according to the Lower Saucon Township Police Department.

A Freemansburg man was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment following a fight at the Meadows Banquet Hall in Lower Saucon Township Saturday evening, townhip police said in a press release Monday. Following an arraignment before District Judge Jacqueline Taschner, Kenneth Blair, 24, of the 1000 block of Monroe Street, was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $10,000 bail, the press release stated. According to police, Kenneth Blair attacked Brian Williams Jr., 20, of the 2000 block of Butztown Road, Bethlehem, as Williams was trying to leave the Meadows. "Ken ripped Brian from the car and assaulted him," police said, adding that Williams suffered "multiple face lacerations" in the attack …

Police: Mason Tried to Run Co-Worker Down

Lower Saucon Township police say William Ruth Jr. attempted to strike a co-worker with his vehicle following an argument Oct. 1.

A Fountain Hill man is behind bars following an alleged incident on Apple Street in Lower Saucon Township Saturday morning, Lower Saucon Township police announced today. According to police, William Ruth Jr. and two other men were in the 2300 block of Apple Street doing masonry work when Ruth was given "verbal direction" by one of the other men, who police identified as David Nuno. At that point, "Ruth 'flipped out' and threw a bucket and mortar pan into Apple Street, (and) then 'stormed off' to his vehicle," police said. A third worker, Ronald Gates, went into the roadway to clean up the bucket and mortar pan, and he was still there when Ruth turned from a dirt lane onto Apple Street and began driving directly at him, police said. …

Police: Man Possessed Brass Knuckles, Ecstasy Pills

Hellertown police say a man arrested in the 1100 block of Main Street May 22 was found to be in possession of both ecstasy pills and brass knuckles. Brandon Tyler Frame-Pritchard, 20, of 1333 Marlow St., Salisbury Township, was stopped at 10:35am--along with another man--as the result of a disturbance complaint, police said. Frame-Pritchard was found to be in possession of several ecstasy pills and the brass knuckles, which he allegedly used in an assault earlier that day, police stated. Another man who was stopped, who police identified as Louis Leonard Bennett, 24, of 445 S. Cottonwood Road, Northampton, was allegedly found to have a marijuana pipe on his person and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Frame-Pritchard was …
