Local Resident Plans Fundraiser for Four-Legged Friends

Amy Musser, the owner of Scrapbooking's Inn in Hellertown, is sponsoring an Aug. 28 fundraiser called "Crafting for Paws" to help raise money for the Center for Animal Health and Welfare.

“I always wanted to help, but I was one of those people that when I walk into an animal shelter or pet store, I would cry because I was too emotionally attached to them and I couldn’t take them all home,” admitted local resident Amy Musser, owner of the Hellertown scrapbooking business Scrapbooking’s Inn. On Aug. 28, Musser will be hosting a fundraiser event called “Crafting for Paws” at Christ Church UCC in Bethlehem. The event will benefit the Center for Animal Health and Welfare, a busy shelter in Williams Township that was formerly the Northampton County SPCA. A life-long animal-lover, Musser said she first decided to hold a scrapbooking fundraiser to benefit the shelter three years ago, as it costs about $750,000 a year to care for …
