The Reverend Fred P. Knieriem, 88, of Allentown, died Monday, May 13, 2013 at Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Dolores Martha (Wasser) Knieriem, who died Jan. 31, 1991. He was born in Tamaqua on Oct. 26, 1924 to the late Frederick Grover and Martha Marie (Witzel) Knieriem. Rev. Knieriem most recently worshiped at Presbyterian Church (USA) of Catasauqua.
