Roma Pizza is a classic Italian eatery that offers Italian entrees such as lasagna, chicken parmigiana and spaghetti, as well as other favorites like chicken fingers, burgers, cheesesteaks, and, of course, pizza.
I moved to Hellertown about 6 months ago and started trying all the pizza places. No better pizza in town, hands down. In an area that is packed with pizza joints Romas stands out. Best pie and best prices.
On a side note, the staff is also great. I am no expert, but it seems like an owner run small business, which is also super important to the community. Great food, great prices, friendly staff. A+
When I saw that Roma was opening, I thought "oh great just what Hellertown needs, another pizza place".
They do usually have really good pizza and good Italian food. There have been a couple of times that one side of the pizza was well done, and the other side was undercooked. Personally speaking, I'd rather have it undercooked than so hard that it is like eating cardboard.
But, this is my place when I'm not trying new places. This is probably the closest thing to Jersey style pizza.
Genuinely good pizza, but the dining area could be a bit cleaner, especially the tables. People are friendly.
