The Hellertown Borough Authority provides sewer and water service to the Borough of Hellertown and part of Lower Saucon Township. The authority was founded in 1940 and currently serves more than 2,600 customers. Water distributed by the authority is sourced from 16 natural springs in Polk Valley and two wells located within the borough. The entire HBA watershed area is approximately 600 acres in size. The Hellertown Borough Authority headquarters are housed in an historic 1832 farmhouse on Durham Street, adjacent to the borough pool.
