A great place to have a drink and hang out. Their food can also be a treat, although I've had variable experiences with it. They have a good assortment of domestic ands imported beers on tap and by the bottle, and - though I'm no connoisseur - I'm told that their assortment of top-shelf single-malt scotches available are second to none. Unless the place is mobbed with a crowd fresh from some sporting Lehigh event at Stabler, it's a cozy, intimate place to mingle with other Hellertonians . . . and foreigners.

The ambience and staff make this place 5 stars, but although the food is good, the side portions (veggies, potatoes, etc) were small. Entrées were delicious, and just the right size, but each time we left there, we were glad we had a bite to eat before arriving. No hors d'oeuvre meant we sat for a good 15 minutes after we finished our drink, just waiting for the appetizers. A little bread or some cheese bits on the table would have been nice. It would have been nice to see boiled taters on the menu, but the dishes did represent a small taste of Scotland. Warning: Make reservations, it can get very crowded, and the service can take quite a while, although the staff is apologetic.
