'Saving Jesus from the Church,' Farmers' Market Meeting: This Week in Saucon Valley

7 p.m., Lower Saucon Township Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) meeting, Lower Saucon Town Hall, 3700 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem

7 p.m., Hellertown Planning Commission meeting, Hellertown Borough Hall, 685 Main St., Hellertown

8 p.m., Music Trivia, Braveheart Highland Pub, 430 Main St., Hellertown

Wednesday, Jan. 15


7 p.m., Lower Saucon Township Council meeting, Town Hall, 3700 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem

7 p.m., "Saving Jesus from the Church" discussion group, Library of Christ Lutheran Church, 69 Main St., Hellertown. Pastor Phil Spohn will moderate a four-week discussion group on the book "Saving Jesus From the Church" by Robin Meyers. The group will meet on four consecutive Wednesday nights from 7 to 9 pm.: Jan. 15, 22, 29 and Feb. 5. It is strongly suggested that participants get the book and read the first few chapters before the opening class. All are welcome to attend any or all four classes.
