Relay for Life of Saucon Valley raises money for the American Cancer Society through a variety of events held throughout the year.

Its signature event is a 24-hour team relay in Hellertown's Dimmick Park, which is held each May.

The dates for the 2014 Relay for Life of Saucon Valley will be May 17-18.

Other events at the park that weekend will pay tribute to cancer survivors from the local area.

In the near future, another upcoming Relay event is a "Pink Pancake Breakfast" which will be held Saturday, Nov. 9 from 8 to 11 a.m. at Lower Saucon UCC/Red Door Early Learning Center, 1375 Third Ave., Hellertown.

Reservations for the breakfast are recommended.

For tickets, call Red Door at 610-838-2267, e-mail info@reddoorelc.org or visit shop.reddoorelc.org and choose the “Pink Pancake Breakfast” tab.
