Relay for Life of Saucon Valley will kick off its annual fundraising campaign on Monday, Oct. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Lowlands (downstairs) bar at Braveheart Highland Pub and Restaurant, 430 Main St., Hellertown.
Light refreshments will be served, and information will be available at the event, which children are welcome to attend.
According to an email from Relay co-chair Carol Schneider, next year's Relay for Life theme will be "Relay Around the World."
Relay for Life of Saucon Valley raises money for the American Cancer Society through a variety of events held throughout the year.

The dates for the 2014 Relay for Life of Saucon Valley will be May 17-18.
Other events at the park that weekend will pay tribute to cancer survivors from the local area.
In the near future, another upcoming Relay event is a "Pink Pancake Breakfast" which will be held Saturday, Nov. 9 from 8 to 11 a.m. at Lower Saucon UCC/Red Door Early Learning Center, 1375 Third Ave., Hellertown.
Reservations for the breakfast are recommended.
