Donald is just gorgeous. He came into the shelter as a stray in September 2009. Although he is not a talkative cat he does purr...a lot! He enjoys attention and affection. His distinctive marking is his white belly. Wouldn't you love to make this little man purr by giving him a loving home?

ABRAMS

Abrams, a petite pittie, was found tied to a fence this spring. The family who found him kept him for about a month and half, but due to finances and a commitment to other pets was unable to keep him. Abrams got along very well with the female dogs and various cats in the home. He also reportedly did very well with everyone he met, including children. However, he did not exhibit consistent behavior with the male dogs in the home -- he got along with one but not the other. Abrams walks nicely on a leash and loves playing with toys and curling up on a couch or bed. He is also reportedly fine with being touched and one can take away his toys with no problem. Abrams is a gentle and loving boy with a very sweet personality. Mike Girvin, dog trainer with the K-9 Connection and president of Bull Run Rescue, is willing to work pro bono with Abrams and his new family.
