Pets in Need of Homes: Harpo and Eclipse

These adorable pets from the Center for Animal Health and Welfare need new homes.

HARPO

Harpo is a young adult male Staffordshire terrier mix. He has been at the shelter for a couple of months and although friendly, he is still a bit shy. He is always eager to go on a walk and has good leash manners. Harpo will let you pet him and take treats nicely, but he is not overly affectionate and is sometimes a bit distant until he gets to know someone better. Once he's comfortable, he'll come without much coaxing and perhaps even give you a quick lick on the cheek. Harpo doesn't like all the commotion at the shelter, so a home of his own, with no other dogs, would be ideal for him. He might be OK living with cats, although they do seem to scare him a little bit.

ECLIPSE

Eclipse is a great little girl who came to the shelter as a stray in the winter of 2010. She is a bit timid but is friendly and would appreciate a loving home soon! She is spayed, up to date on shots, cat-friendly and ready to go!
