Pets in Need of Homes: Harpo and Annabelle

These deserving furry friends are looking for "forever homes" with new owners. Can you help?

Each week we feature a cat and dog in need of adoption from the Center for Animal Health and Welfare in Williams Township. For information about these and other pets, visit www.healthyanimalcenter.org or call 610-252-7722.

HARPO

Harpo is a young adult male staffordshire terrier mix who has been at the shelter for a couple of months. Although he is friendly, he is still a bit shy. He is always eager to go on a walk and has good leash manners. He will let you pet him and take treats nicely from you, but he is not overly affectionate until he knows someone well. Harpo doesn't like all the commotion at the shelter, so a home of his own--with no other dogs--would be ideal for him. He would probably be OK in a home with cats.

ANNABELLE

Annabelle sure is a beauty queen! She is an all white long-haired cat who is about 5 years old. She came to the shelter as a stray in January 2010. Annabelle keeps herself well-groomed, is friendly, quiet, and doesn’t mind the company of other cats.
