Pets in Need of Homes: Dennis, Sammy and Lavender

DENNIS

Dennis is a big fluffy rabbit that doesn't mind being handled. He is friendly, active and loves people. He is two years old and looking for a forever home. (He had just gotten a bath in the photo that accompanies this story.)

SAMMY

Sammy is a favorite of one of the center's volunteers and gets a visit almost every day. A domestic shorthair "tiger" cat, Sammy is calm, cool and collected. He is very sweet and in need of a forever home. He was originally relinquished to the shelter as his owner lost his home and then again when his owner fell ill. He is 10 years old and would love a forever home for his golden years. He is diabetic and needs daily medication.

LAVENDER

Lavender, a pit bull terrier, is a sweet young lady. She has good leash manners and enjoys going for walks. Lavender is always smiling and she is more than happy to climb up on your lap and smother you with kisses. She just loves people. She is not a fan of other animals so she will have to be the only pet in her new home. She knows how to sit for treats and she is very eager to please. Lavender truly is a beautiful dog and she badly wants a home to call her own. Come and meet this little beauty today and see if she could be the one to make your home complete.
