New Library Board Volunteers Needed in Lower Saucon

The township is currently looking for residents who would be willing to serve on a new consolidated library board.

Beginning Jan. 1, Lower Saucon Township will enter into a partnership with Hellertown borough to provide library services for Saucon Valley residents at the Hellertown Area Library.

A new governing board made up of residents from both municipalities will be formed to oversee the operation of the consolidated library, an announcement posted on the township website indicated.

The township is currently looking for residents who would be willing to serve on the consolidated library board.

Anyone interested in volunteering should submit a letter of interest to manager@lowersaucontownship.org or call (610) 865-3291.
