Animal Shelter Sponsoring 'Kitten-Palooza'

The Center for Animal Health and Welfare is trying to adopt out more kittens by offering a special through Aug. 12.

The Center for Animal Health and Welfare in Williams Township announced Sunday that it is hosting a special adoption event called "Kitten-Palooza" through Aug. 12.

"We have been overwhelmed with boxes of kittens this spring and summer," center staff said in an email, adding that there are almost 100 kittens available.

Most of the kittens are up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, microchipped and ready for immediate adoption.
