Adopt a Shelter Cat for Just $5

The Center for Animal Health and Welfare is sponsoring "Operation Freedom" from July 1-8.

Note: The Center for Animal Health and Welfare will be closed in observance of Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4.

As America prepares to celebrate its independence, volunteers from the Center for Animal Health and Welfare are hoping that some deserving felines will also soon be independent--of the shelter, that is.

The Williams Township center has announced that it will host "Operation Freedom" from July 1-8, when cats over a year old will be available for adoption for just $5.
