The Saucon Valley High School wrestling team will compete for the Colonial League title Monday night at Catasauqua, after defeating Bangor and capturing the top seed heading into the tournament on Saturday, the Morning Call reported.

The Colonial League wrestling semifinals—in which the Panthers will square off against Catty—are scheduled for 5:30 p.m., and the finals will take place at 7:30 p.m., an article published by the newspaper indicated.

The Panthers are led by head coach Chad Shirk.

The Express-Times reported that on Saturday, Shirk praised the underclassmen on his team for helping deliver Saucon Valley to its second Colonial League final in as many years.

The team only has three seniors on it this year, the Express-Times quoted Shirk as saying.

If you want to cheer the Panthers on, Catasauqua High School is located at 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.
