2nd Annual Rail Trail 10K Planned for Labor Day
The Labor Day race to benefit the HCM Foundation will begin and end at Upper Saucon Township Community Park in Center Valley.
There's still time to register for the second annual Saucon Rail Trail 10K to benefit the HCM Foundation.
The 10K will be held Monday, Sept. 2 (Labor Day) starting at 8:30 a.m.
It will begin and end at Upper Saucon Township Community Park, 3231 Preston Lane, Center Valley.
According to a description posted on a race webpage, "this 10K race will be an out and back course starting at the top of the rail trail ramp and finishing near the (park) pavilion."
The cost to register is $30 before Aug. 19, or $35 thereafter. There is also a registration closing date of Aug. 28.
All preregistered participants will receive a T-shirt, a Brooks tote bag and/or sweat towel and a PowerBar product, as well as a "generous" post race spread, according to the website.
Awards and a Kids Fun Run will be other highlights of this year's event.
