Whiz Kids Wanted

Adults seem to get a lot of attention here. They're running for office, running a business...or running a marathon. 

But kids? We don't seem to feature them as often, unless what they're doing involves sports.

Maybe it's a girl raising money to help a friend who's battling an illness, or some Boy Scouts who have a really cool project that will benefit the community. It could be a kid who's amassed a giant collection of bottle caps or one who's just cleaned up at a local science fair. And we're not going to ignore the accomplishments of our local student-athletes, either.

But we can't do this alone. We need to hear from you. If you know a child or teen who you think deserves our attention, let us know. Here's the information we'll need:

• Whiz Kid's School     
• Whiz Kid's Accomplishment
• Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness (what made him/her successful?)
