St. Mike's Second-Graders Celebrate Mardi Gras
Students at St. Michael the Archangel School made their own shoebox "floats" and paraded them through the primary school.
Second grade students at St. Michael the Archangel School in Upper Saucon Township celebrated Mardi Gras on Feb. 21. Students decorated shoebox “floats” using feathers, beads, letters, photos and other decorative items and paraded their creations through the primary school. Later, second grade students celebrated the final day before the season of Lent began with food and games.
