Seniors Recognized at On-Field Lacrosse Ceremony

The senior members of the Saucon Valley boys lacrosse team were recognized at a "Senior Night" at the school district stadium May 13.

Friday the 13th may not be considered the most auspicious day, but Friday, May 13 was a very special day for some graduating Saucon Valley boys lacrosse players.

The boys on the school's lacrosse team were recognized during a 7pm ceremony at Montford Illick Stadium that preceded a game against Moravian Academy.

As Saucon Valley Youth Lacrosse Vice President Pete Kowalski explained in an email, the ceremony was intended to honor the senior players, all of whom have helped lead the lacrosse program at Saucon Valley during its short Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) history.
