Saucon Valley Schools Closed Wednesday

Snow and bitter cold will keep Saucon Valley students at home Wednesday.

Saucon Valley schools are closed Wednesday due to weather, the district announced.

More than half a foot of snow fell on the area Tuesday, and the National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory that is in effect through 11 a.m. Wednesday.

At 5 a.m., the temperature at Allentown had fallen to 1 and the wind chill was -16.

School district offices will open at 11 a.m.

@sarah: I could not agree with you more. On a positive note, as bad as these others may be , the middle school principal, Mrs. Bernardo, is outstanding!
