Patch 101: Posting Announcements is Easy

Did your son or daughter make the honor roll? Does your organization need volunteer help? Here's how to let everyone know.

Are you the proud parent, grandparent or friend of a student who's made the honor roll? Are you part of a local group or organization that's seeking new members? Is your church planning a fundraiser? Do you have a press release with news you want our readers to see?

Whether your kid got straight As for the first time, you've become a black belt, your company is looking for interns or you have a volunteer opportunity, Hellertown Patch is the place to let it be known.

We have a category for almost everything (births, deaths, sports awards, religious occasions, thank you, etc.), so feel free to post an announcement for just about anything.

Make sure you're a registered user on Patch (all you need is a name and an e-mail address) and you can upload your own announcements. Once logged in, scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Announce something to everyone" under the Contribute category.

Or you can click here (as long as you're logged in) to access the blank form.

In the announcement template, write a title. Select a category that best fits the announcement, and then write a brief description. You can even add photos and video to accompany your announcement, and after posting you can share the link with your friends and family.

It's that simple.
