Parent-Chaperone Security Clearances Needed, District Says

The Saucon Valley School District says all parent-chaperones must submit to the security clearances in order to travel to events with students.

Parents who plan to chaperone or travel with classes, sports teams and student groups that leave Saucon Valley school grounds for field trips, competitions or other events must complete several current security clearances, the district has announced.

In a news alert, the district said parents must complete the FBI Federal Criminal History Record, the Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Record Check and the Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance.

Links to the three forms are available on the school district's website, here.
