Junior Awarded Earl L. LaPointe '22 Memorial Endowed Scholarship (2011-2012) at Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y.
Clarkson University has announced that Andrew M. Kanusky, of Hellertown, has been awarded the Earl L. LaPointe '22 Memorial Endowed Scholarship during the 2011-2012 academic year. Kanusky is a junior majoring in mechanical engineering at the school, which is located in Potsdam, N.Y.

Senior Inducted into Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa.
Lycoming College has announced that senior Timothy Okken, of Hellertown, was recently inducted into Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society. Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society in education with 582 chapters and more than 45,000 members. Its mission is to "sustain an honored community of diverse educators of diverse educators by promoting excellence and advancing scholarship, leadership, and service," according to a press release.
