School Calendar Announced for 2013-14
Saucon Valley School District school calendar was approved by the school board Jan. 7.
The Saucon Valley School Board of Directors approved the district's 2013-2014 school calendar at its Jan. 7 meeting, the district announced recently.
The calendar is drawn around 184 days of instruction for students and 192 days of service for teachers, with four extra days built-in.
The first day of school for Saucon Valley students enrolled in 2013-2014 is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 and the last day of instruction is scheduled for Wednesday, June 11, 2014.

The calendar can be amended in the future by the school board, at its discretion.
