Where to Expect Road Work This Week: Jan. 30-Feb. 3

PennDOT has announced the following scheduled road work in the Saucon Valley area.

This week the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that the following road projects will be taking place in our area (all projects are weather dependent):

* Between Monday, Jan. 30 and Friday, Feb. 3 PennDOT maintenance forces will be sealing cracks on Route 412 between the Bucks County line and Third Street in Bethlehem. The work will be performed in Lower Saucon Township, the Borough of Hellertown and the City of Bethlehem. Lane restrictions with flagging will be in place between 9am and 2pm.

* On Tuesday, Jan. 31 a PennDOT contractor will be patching potholes on Interstate 78 East in Lower Saucon Township, between Exit 67 (Route 412) and Exit 71 (Route 33). An eastbound lane restriction will be in effect between 9am and 2pm.

* Between Wednesday, Feb. 1 and Friday, Feb. 3, PennDOT maintenance forces will be performing drainage work on Route 378 North between Puggy Lane in Lower Saucon Township and Broadway in the City of Bethlehem. The work is part of a drainage inlet repair project, according to PennDOT. Lane restrictions will be in place between 9am and 2pm.
