Township Needs Residents to Fill Board Vacancies

Volunteers are needed to fill two vacancies on the Lower Saucon Township Environmental Advisory Council (EAC), one on the township's Parks & Recreation Board and one on the Lower Saucon Authority board, the township announced on its website Tuesday.

The EAC is a 12-member advisory board that meets monthly to discuss environmental issues affecting the township and make recommendations to council, the Parks & Recreation Board is a 7-member body responsible for making recommendations regarding park area acquisition/development and recreational programs/facilities to council, and the 7-member Authority board is responsible for overseeing the operation of the township's public water and sanitary sewer system in accordance with the PA Municipal Authorities Act.
