Township Announces Fall Road Paving Schedule

Lower Saucon Township Department of Public Works director Roger Rasich has announced the following schedule for fall road paving on township roads.

The paving will occur during the next two weeks, and two roads--Mountain Drive South and Redington Road East--will temporarily close to accommodate the work.

"Please note that all work is weather conditional," Rasich said in an email. "Unless there is rain on the 24th, 25th and 26th we will stick to the schedule for the two roads to be closed, and if necessary adjust (the) rest of the roads to minimize the closures."

ROAD PAVING SCHEDULE

9/19 - Finish Stonesthrow Road (already begun)

9/19 - Begin/finish Walters Avenue

9/20 - Finish Walters Ave (if not completed on the 19th)

9/20 - Begin Apple Tree Lane and East Apple Tree Lane

9/21 - Finish Apple Tree Lane and East Apple Tree Lane

9/24 - Begin Mountain Drive South (CLOSED)

9/25 - Finish Mountain Drive South (CLOSED)

9/26 - Begin/finish Redington Road East (CLOSED)

9/27 - Begin Buttermilk Road

9/28 - Finish Buttermilk Road

9/28 - Begin Wilhelm Road

10/1 - Finish Wilhelm Road
