PennDOT: Expect Traffic Delays in Hellertown Friday

PennDOT says workers will be making "emergency repairs" to a water line on Main Street.

Rush hour traffic may be a little worse than usual in Hellertown Friday, according to PennDOT.

The state agency announced late Thursday that local utility workers will be making "emergency repairs to a water line" on Main Street (Route 412) between Water and Saucon streets. The repairs are expected to be made between 8am and 6pm, PennDOT said.

Lane restrictions with flagging will be in place at the intersection of Main and Penn streets, which has a traffic signal, according to a press release.
