Lower Saucon Road to Be Closed for Several Days
PennDOT announced Friday that part of Lower Saucon Road will be temporarily closed for a pipe replacement project this week. A detour will be in place while the road is closed.
A portion of a two-lane road in eastern Lower Saucon Township will be closed for road work part of this week, PennDOT announced Friday.
Lower Saucon Road will be closed between Applebutter Road and Easton Road for a pipe replacement project from Tuesday, July 26 through Friday, July 29, the state agency said in an email about scheduled Northampton County road work.
A detour will be in place for motorists while the road is closed, PennDOT said.

The detour will take motorists from Easton Road to Cherry Lane to Route 412 to Shimersville Road to Applebutter Road.
