Dunkin' Donuts Expected to Open in Mid-November
Hellertown Zoning and Codes Enforcement Officer Joe Chernaskey announced the revised opening date at Borough Council's Oct. 3 meeting.
Many local residents are eagerly anticipating at 730 Main Street in Hellertown, the borough's Zoning and Codes Enforcement Officer told Borough Council at its Oct. 3 meeting.
However, the opening date for the popular franchise has been delayed until November, he explained.
"They're going to be applying for permits," Joe Chernaskey announced. "They're looking (at) a mid-November (opening)."

The business was originally expected to open in late September or early October.
Chernaskey said he is frequently asked about when the coffee-and-donut shop will open, and Hellertown's Chief of Police Robert Shupp joked that some members of the police force "have asked for us to expedite this process."

The Dunkin' Donuts, once open, will be located almost directly across the street from , where the Hellertown Police Department is headquartered.
