Borough Officer Promoted to Rank of Corporal
Hellertown police officer Jeffrey Johnston was sworn in by Mayor Richard Fluck at borough council's Oct. 1 meeting.
At borough council's Oct. 1 meeting there were congratulations for Hellertown police officer Jeffrey Johnston, who was recently promoted to the rank of corporal.
Johnston was officially sworn in as corporal by Mayor Richard Fluck at the start of the meeting.
Many of his family members were in attendance for the brief ceremony.

Following the swearing in Johnston received well-wishes from Police Chief Robert Shupp, members of council and other borough officials.
