Borough Announces 2011 Road Work Plans
Six Hellertown thoroughfares are scheduled to receive an overlay of paving material later this year.
Your ride through Hellertown just might be a little smoother after road work recently announced by the borough is completed by the public works department.
According to an announcement posted on the Borough of Hellertown website, this year maintenance work will be performed on Rentzheimer Drive, Water Street, High Street, Clauser Street, Washington Street and Hampton Avenue.
The projects will "consist of oil and chipping with a two-inch overlay of paving material," according to the announcement.
