Worker at Route 412 Expansion Project Injured

An employee of HRI Inc., the company hired to expand  in Bethlehem and Hellertown, was injured Tuesday in an accident associated with the project, a company spokesman said.

Spokesman Andy Renfrew did not have details on what happened but said the company's first concern is with the employee and his family. He said more information about the accident would be released by Wednesday.

At mid-day, Breaking News Network reported that a large object had fallen on a man at 1866 Auburn St., Bethlehem. The man, who was reported to be in cardiac arrest, was taken to a hospital by ambulance according to the bulletin.

The Express-Times reported that the object that fell on the man--about whom no information has been released--was a roughly 2,000-pound median barrier.
